What You’ll Be Doing
Food Services Manager
Our food services managers oversee all aspects of the dining experience, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control. They are responsible for managing a team of kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and meeting dietary restrictions and preferences of residents. Additionally, they may handle budgeting, ordering supplies, and maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere for residents.
Food Service Aide
The food service aide at a senior living facility is an essential member of the food service team, responsible for preparing and serving appetizing, nourishing, and well-balanced meals to residents. They also play a vital role in assisting with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. With their dedication and support, they ensure that residents receive quality meals in a clean and inviting environment.
Cook
Together with other members of the food service department, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and delivering a variety of nourishing food for the residents. Building a community surrounding meal times will be a part of your role and you’ll have a chance to get to know the residents each day. You should have an important understanding of senior nutrition and what cooking wholesome food will do for their overall wellbeing.
