What You’ll Be Doing
Life Enrichment Assistant
In this rewarding role, no two days will be the same. Daily tasks will include creating and facilitating a variety of fun and engaging activities plus events for residents which might include: arts and crafts, fitness classes, social gatherings, cookie decorating, gardening, book club, various games and puzzles, or musical activities. Ultimately, you collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to create stimulating activities each day for residents to enjoy that helps promote a positive well-being and fosters a strong sense of community.
Transporters
Our transporters are responsible for safely and efficiently conveying residents from one location to another. They help residents move between their living quarters, dining areas, activity rooms, and other common spaces using assistive equipment like wheelchairs or walkers. They prioritize the comfort, safety, and well-being of the residents while promoting a sense of autonomy and independence. Imagine yourself as the friendly taxi driver everyone knows. Your duties will also include helping residents in and out of vehicles and building a trusting relationship while maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout the day.
Beauticians
Beauticians play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of residents by helping them look and feel their best. They provide a range of services, including shampooing, shaving, haircuts, perms, and nail care, ensuring that residents receive personalized grooming and styling. In addition to their technical skills, beauticians also foster meaningful relationships with residents, offering a comforting and social environment where seniors can relax, engage in conversation, and build connections.
